If You Are Interested In Volunteering For A Study:

If you are interested in participating in any of our brain imaging studies, please contact us.  In your message, please include a few details about yourself — including your age, gender, and (when applicable) whether you have been diagnosed with any neurological or psychiatric disorders — so that we can tell you which studies you may be eligible for.

If You Are Enrolled As A Study Participant:

If you have been enrolled in one of our studies, you will have already discussed the date and time of your experiment with the study coordinator.  MRI time is extremely expensive (i.e., several hundred dollars per hour) and other researchers who have the system booked after us need to be on time for their studies as well, so it is very important that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.  If you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as you can.

The study coordinator will also have told you where your appointment will be held:

  1. The Kleysen Institute for Advanced Medicine (KIAM) at the Health Sciences Centre;
  2. The National Research Council (NRC) Building on Ellice Avenue; or
  3. The Dr. Andrei Sakharov MRI Centre at St. Boniface Hospital.
